Abstract
Using Stochastic Frontier Approach(SFA) of pannel data, the intrinsic relation between the RD and the technique efficiency of the Yangtze River economic region, the Pearl River economic region and the economic region around the Bohai Sea.By the empirical test of the three major economic circle in China, the article draws the conclusions: Firstly,RD investment has positive effect to the technology efficiency.Secondly, the capital investment on the RD is more effective than the labor investment to the technology efficiency.Thirdly, while the technical efficiency is improving with the time past, the gap of technology efficiency is enlarging due to the differences of RD investment in differences regions.
