On the R&D Performance of China's Foreign-funded Enterprises:A SFA Approach

From the view of RD organizations' access to information and knowledge transfer,this paper analysis the impact of regional information,regional technology and regional technical market to foreign RD.With the data of China's foreign-funded industrial enterprises in 25 regional,we take SFA estimates analysis the RD efficiency of foreign-funded enterprises.This study showed that: foreign RD efficiency in China are generally low;the RD efficiency of the coastal areas is much higher than that of the western inland region;positive correlativity is existed between information level,strength of technology in the region and the foreign RD efficiency;since China's technology market isn't immature,the infection of regional technical-market level to the efficiency of foreign RD efficiency is not significant.
