Abstract

Objective To explore ultrasonography and color Doppler flow features of thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter. Methods Two-dimensional ultrasonography and color Doppler flow imaging of 142 cases of thyroid adenoma and 72 cases of nodular goiter(proved by operation and pathology) were analyzed. Results The differences between the two groups in gender, age, lesion size, and liquefied lesion were not significant(P0.05);the differences between the two groups in enlargement of bilateral leaves,a single lesion, coated lesions, peripheral lesions with sound halo, such as indicators, were significant(P0.05);Peripheral lesions and internal color Doppler flow signals between the two groups were significantly different(P0.05).Conclusion Two-dimensional imaging and color Doppler flow characteristics of the signal characteristics can be used in the differential diagnosis between thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter.
