Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of high frequency color Doppler ultrasonography in diagnosing nodular goiter and thyroid adenoma. Methods Sixty-eight cases with thyroid adenoma and 104 cases with nodular goiter were examined by high frequency color Doppler ultrasonography. The location, number, form, border, internal echo,CDFI,characteristics of the flow shape of the nodules were observed. Results There were significant differences in single or plural foci, focal capsules, internal blood flow and perinodular blood flow(all P0.05)between the two groups. Conclusion High frequency color Doppler ultrasonography has value for differential diagnosis of nodular goiter and thyroid adenoma.
