Abstract

The experiment was designed to study the effects of vinasse on the agronomic characters of sugarcane. The results showed that the sugarcane vinasse brought about the effects to sugarcane as following:(1) The vinasse reduced the germination percentage compared with CK1 and CK2, the germination percentages in the treatments applied 75t and 105t were significantly or extremely significantly lower than those in CK1 and CK2 respectively;(2) It enhanced the percentage of sugarcane tillering, and that of the treatment with 75t was higher than that of CK1 obviously.(3)The total number of sugarcane seedling little increased.(4) It reduced the height of sugarcane in October.(5) Stem diameters of every treatment were higher than that of CK1, and that of treatment with 75t was higher than that of CK2, but the sugarcane height and stem diameter between 5 treatments were no significant difference. After fertilization, the germination percentage was correlated negatively with the content of available Cu and Cl-in the soil. The percentage of tillering was correlated positively with the content of NO3--N and HA in the soil obviously.Total seedling number was correlated positively with the content of HA clearly. The height of sugarcane was correlated negatively with the content of NO3--N, HA and Cu in the soil.So the contents of NO3--N, HA, available Cu, Cl-in soil played a key role during the period of germination, tillering and growth.
