WuTianbaoganye's treatment effect on alcohol liver disease in rats

Objective To investigate WuTianbaoganye's treatment effect on alcohol liver disease(ALD) in rats.Methods 100 Wistar rats were assingned at random six groups:a normal group(10),a model control group(18),WuTianbaoganye low dose group(18),middle dose group(18),high dose group(18),Yishanfu group(18).Rat model of ALD was induced by perfusing stomach with the mixture of liquor,pyrazol and corn oil.After 12 weeks intervention,To observation variety of liver tissue pathology and ALT、AST、TG、TC、LN、PⅢP in serum of rats.Results Model group's rats have significantly higher steatosis,inflammation,liver fibrosis,liver index,lower weight,and increased level of ALT、AST、TG、TC、LN、PⅢP in serum of rats,compared with those of the normal rats.WuTianbaoganye groups and Yishanfu group's rats have mild pathological changes,higher weight,lower liver index,and decreased level of ALT、 AST、TG、TC、LN、PⅢP in serum of rats,compared with those of the model rats.Curative effect is relative with dose.Conclusion WuTianbaoganye had an active effect on inhibiting ALD in rats,especially middle,high dose.
