Abstract

[Objective] The aim of the study was to optimize the conditions of cellulase production by Trichoderma viride and provide foundation for the practical application of Trichoderma viride.[Method] Using Trichoderma viride as experimental materials, the conditions for cellulase production were studied by liquid fermentation. The influences of the culture conditions, including the fermentation time, the nitrogen sources, the inoculation volume and pH value on the activities of cellulase were investigated.[Result] The exudation peaks of different enzyme components were inconsistent. The activity of FPA reached its maximum after 2 days. The activity of Cx enzyme reached its maximum after 3 days. The cellulase activity was highest with peptone as the sole nitrogen source. The optimal inoculation volume was 5% and the optimal initial pH value was 4.5 in the fermentation.[Conclusion] The influences of different culture conditions on the activities of cellulase production by Trichoderma viride were different.
