56 Cases on treatment cycle of recurrent unruptured ovarian fiberation

Objective To investigate the treatment methods of infertility caused by luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome.Methods Seventy-eight cases of recurrent luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome were determined from those who visited the infertility clinic of the hospital between January 2008 and March 2010.The patients were randomly divided into two groups.Group A was treated by traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine with 56 cycles;group B was given clomiphene citrate or HMG ovulation induction treatment with 56cycles.Results For group A,during the 56 treatment cycles,ovulation occurred in 41 cases,resulting in the ovulation rate of 73.21%,pregnancy in 15 cases,pregnancy rate38.46% and abortion in 1 case,the abortion rate 2.56%;for group B,during the 56 treatment cycles,ovulation occurred in 23 cases,ovulation rate 41.07%,pregnancy in 5 cases,pregnancy rate 12.82% and abortion in 1 case,abortion rate 2.56%.There were significant differences in ovulation rate and pregnancy rate between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The integrative treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine can improve recurrent follicular luteinizing condition and help to achieve pregnancy.
