The experimental observation of Capsule NaoLingSu about acute toxicity and chronic tocicity

Objective To observe acute toxicity of Capsule Naolingsu in mice and chronic toxicity of Capsule Naolingsu in rats .Methods NaoLingSu(1050mg/kg) was gived to mice by gavage two times a day for seven days in acute toxicity observation, then to observe mice's action and mortality;NaoLingSu(1.75mg/kg)was gived to rats by gavage once a day for four weeks in chronic toxicity observation , then to observe rats' action and weight . And rats were executed to sample blood to test function of liver and kidney on the fourth week .At the same time ,modulus of important organs was calculated and system of liver ,brain,heart and kidney was sended to have a pathologic test.Results mice's action was normal and none of them died during a week in acute toxicity experiment; Naolingsu has no obvious toxic reaction at gived dosage and administered time in chronic toxicity experiment, namely, weight and function of liver and kidney in administered group had no evident difference in comparison with normal group .Pathologic section test also had no apparent change in pathologic morphology.Conclusions Naolingsu had no obvious toxicity on such important organs as liver ,brain ,heart, kidney and so on.
