Effect of Mosapride combined with gastrointestinal pacemaker in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of Mosapride combined with gastrointestinal pacemaker in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis(DGP).Methods Sixty cases of DGP were randomly divided into 2 groups,the treatment group with Mosapride combined with gastrointestinal pacemaker and the control group only with Mosapride.The treatment course was 2 weeks.The gastrointestinal symptoms scores were recorded before and after treatment.Results The gastrointestinal symptoms scores declined evidently in the treament group compared with the control group.The total effective rates were 90.0% in the treament group and 63.3% in the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion It is assumed that Mosapride combined with gastrointestinal pacemaker could ameliorate efficiently the symptoms of DGP.
