Abstract

Objective To evaluate the different effects of the non-diabetic hyperglycemia and diabetic hyperglycemia on acute phase of acute cerebral infarction. Methods The patients with hyperglycemia during hospitalization were divided into diabetic hyperglycemia group(A),non-diabetic hyperglycemia group(B group) and normal glucose group(C) based on the value of blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin discharged from hospital 2 weeks later. The patients' information of NIHSS,size of infarction, clinical efficacy, the average length of stay were analysed. Results The patients' NIHSS,size of infarction, therapeutic effect, average stay were not statistically different between Group A and B.Conclusions Hyperglycemia for different reasons in the acute phase of ischemia have equally effect on patients' clinical symptoms and short-term prognosis.
