Abstract
The influences of heat treatment process on the bonding strength, porosity, microhardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, corrosion potential and the oxidation resistance of electroless plating Ni-W-Mo-P were investigated using microhardness tester, optical microscope and electro-chemistry methods. The results show that the maximum hardness(about 960HV)and good wear resistance of Ni-W-Mo-P plating are obtained when heat-treated at 400℃for 1 h.However, its corrosion resistance is worse.Furthermore, its microhardness is obviously improved after heat-treating at 200℃for 6 h,and up to 1000 HV.After heat-treating at 400℃,the oxidation resistance of Ni-W-Mo-P plating is superior to that without electroless plating 45 steel.
