Analysis of the Overall Contents of Flavone in Local Celery Varieties in Hunan

Abstract

The total flavone content in the leaves and stem of local celery in Hunan was tested by Al(NO3)3-spectrophotometry.The results showd the content of celery flavone were significant different in 14 local cultivars.The highest content of flavone from wild celery leaf in Zhangjiajie was 20.350 mg/g and the lowest from celery leaf in Shaoyang was 20.350 mg/g.The content of flavone in leaves was more higher than that in stem.
