Clinical evaluation of IPS-Empress ceramic veneers in esthetic prosthetics of anterior teeth

Objective:To observe the clinical prosthetic effect of IPS-Empress ceramic veneers in anterior teeth.Method:52 teeth needing porcelain veneer restorations were selected.In the next 24 months,After two years,color match,surface texture,marginal discoloration,and marginal integrity were clinically examined following modified CDA/Ryge criteria and the reason were analysed.Result:3 of the 52 porcelain veneers failed,with an achievement ratio 94.03 %.Conclusion:The clinical application of porcelain veneer in tetracycline pigmentation teeth,dental fluorosis,enamelhypoplasia,hypocalcification teeth,dentition sparsity(interstice 3 mm),mind malposedtooth were satisfied.
