The Clinical Evaluation of Porcelain Veneers

Objective To observe the clinical prosthetic effect of dental porcelain veneer.Methods 67 teeth needing porcelain veneer restorations were selected.In the next 6-24 months,the satisfaction degree with dental color,adaptability of limbic and the coloring contamination on dental restorations were identified and analyzed.Results 5 of the 67 porcelain veneers failed,with an achievement ratio 94.03%.Conclusion Dental porcelain veneer has better clinical prosthetic effects in tetracycline pigmentation teeth,dental fluorosis,enamel hypoplasia,hypocalcification teeth,dentition sparsity(interstice3 mm),slight malposed teeth and mild maxillary protrusion teeth(overbite within normal limits).
