The historical evolvement and modern transformation of the university spirit

Abstract

The university spirit is the extension, the deepening and the enbodiment of the idea of universities, and it is also a remarkable difference between higher education and other types of education. Along with the age's changing, social developing and deepening cognition on colleges and universities, the connotation of the university spirit has been evolved and extended. The university spirit has presently been facing an important transformation, it means higher new requirements for university person on many sides.
