Abstract
Objective:To detect IgG antibody titer in serum of pregnant women with blood type O.Methods:According to the husband's blood type, 1204 cases of pregnant women were divided into four groups, that is O-A, O-B, O-AB-A and O-AB-B.IgG antibody titer in serum was detected by anti-human-globulin test in micro-column gel immunoassay. At the same time, 304 cases whose antibody titers ≤ 1:64 were randomly selected to detect regularly. Results:The proportions of IgG antibody titer64 of pregnant women in 0-A blood type couple group, 0-B group, O-AB-A and O-AB-B group were 29.88%, 19.92%, 20.00% and 18.18% respectively. The pregnant women in each blood type composition had the same probability of giving birth a neonate with hemolytic disease of the newborn, and the differences were not significant(P 0.05).Antibody titers increased in the advanced stage for some cases of 304.Comparing with the pregnant women in early pregnancy, the difference is statistically significant(t = 2.271, P0.05).The rate of pregnant women with titer 1:64increasedgradually,whenthegestationalageincreased(r=0.979,t=8.293,P0.05).Conclusions:Detectingtiterofbloodtype antibody IgG in serum of pregnant women with ABO Alloimmunization is helpful to diagnose hemolytic disease of the newborn and to instruct interventions to lower incidence of the disease.Specially, pregnant women with titer ≤1:64 should be paid attention to regularly.
