Abstract
In the hybrid anaerobic reactor, both anaerobic sludge and biofilm were used to achieve the removal of organic matters. The upper filter media layer was used to prevent the loss of anaerobic sludge, and the sludge gas produced from the lower air pocket was timely released for washing biofilm to prevent the clogging in the filter.Urban wastewater was used to conduct the pilot test, and the result shows that under the conditions of influent temperature 20-30 ℃,HRT 2 h,and normal influent COD,the average removal rate of COD is 42%,SS removal rate is 75%,and volumetric removal loading is(1.48) kg COD/(m~3·d).
