Abstract

objective: To study the curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine(TCM) on treating aged metabolic chronic renal failure(CRF). Methods: 133 cases with CRF were randomly divided into the contrast group and the treatment group. The contrast group was treated with conventional western medicine. The treatment group was treated with Bushenyiqijiangzhuo decoction based on the therapy of the contrast group. Results: After treatment the clinical symptom, varieties of serum uric acid(UA),total bilirubin(TBIL),direct bilirubin(DBIL),indirect bilirubin(IBIL),Urine specific gravity(SG),urine protein(UTP),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine rate(SCr) in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the contrast group. Conclusion: Integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has significant clinical curative effect on aged metabolic chronic renal failure.
