Current Significance of Mao Zedong's Theory of Chinese Peasants

Mao Zedong's theory of Chinese peasants is the most specific and creative one in the whole system of his thought and played an important guiding role in the processes of Chinese democratic revolution and socialistic agricultural reorganization. Analyzing the existing vital issues on agriculture, peasants and rural areas in contemporary China,the basic points of Mao's theory of peasants are regarded as still suitable to Chinese current situation. How to find the best way to approach these issues and solve them on the basis of Mao's theory of Chinese peasants is thus emphasized to discuss.
