Abstract

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and capability of LEEP in treatment of CIN.Methods:One hundred and thirty patients with CIN were treated by LEEP,the operation time、hemorrhage、the change of histopathology and complications were analyzed retrospectively. Results:For the LEEP,the mean operation time was 3.6 min, mean hemorrhage was 8.6 mL.After LEEP,63.1% was consitent with pretreating histopathology,22.3% with upgrade, and 14.6% with downgrade.Followed up for 3~12 months,1 patient recurred with CIN II,another 1 remained CIN I.The cure rate achieved up to 98.5% and HPV elimination was 95%.The common complications of LEEP were hemorrhage and infection. Conclusion:The LEEP is effective and safe for the treatment of CIN.
