Abstract

This paper questions the present views about criticizing Dai Zhen and defending Zhu Xi and analyzes the basic difference between Dai Zhen′ Theories and Zhu Xi′s Neo-Confucianism.The paper holds that Zhu Xi apotheosizes the imperial power′s society as the previous spiritual reality so as to construct his philosophy system;while Dai Zhen establishes his own system from the inner requirement of social and individual development.The difference runs through every aspects of two theoretical systems.
