Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of the hydroxyapatite orbital implant in second surgery after enucleation and evisceration has been performed and socket subside.Method Orbital collapses of 22 cases were received sclera or non-sclera wrapped artificial eye seat of hydroxyapatite implantation and followed clinically 3~12months.Results No prolapse and dislocation of implants were found;seat mobility and cosmetic appearance were also well accepted. Conclusion Secondary ocular socket plasty with orbital implant of hydroxyapatite satisfied outward appearance and the complications was reduced. It is the one of ideal operation technique for the treatment of the deformity of eye socket.
