Abstract

Effect of IBA and IAA was studied on rooting of apple(cv.Pink Lady)in vitro.The results showed that the rooting rate was the highest in 1/2 MS medium and 2 g/L active carbon with IBA 2.0 mg/L,the average rooting rate reached 96.6 %.A combination treatment with IAA 0.5 mg/L and IBA 1.0 mg/L had a higher rooting rate.The treatment also showed better than single IBA treatment in plant height,root length and number of root.
