Mechanisms of paraffin remover in Weibei high-wax and high-pour-point crude

Abstract

As the crude oil in Dongsheng Weibei 86-oblique block 2 identified by their high wax content,high pour point and wax easily,a better paraffin remover and inhibitor is compounded with terpolymer acrylic twenty-two ester/maleic anhydride/vinyl acetate.When the adding amount of the dosage is 1 000 mg/L,the wax inhibition rate up to 41.46 %,the wax melting rate is 0.082 9 g·min-1,viscosity reduction rate is 71.80 %(48 ℃),pour point reduce 7 ℃.Apply the infrared absorption spectroscopy,XRD as well as observe wax crystal mor phology study the paraffin before and after chemical treatment,the results show that,infrared absorption peak area ratio of the paraffin after chemical treatments increased,intensity of Xray diffraction peak weaken.Wax crystal formation change into spherical flocculating constituent from schistose needle-like monocase by polarizing microscope during the process of cooling.Higher than the wax precipitation temperature,small wax crystal growing because of the nucleation effect of pour point depressant.Growth in the wax crystal phase,adsorption Eutectic mechanism plays the dominant role.
