Intercultural Communication of College English Teaching in Globalization

Under the globalization, college English teaching is not only limited to the foreign language, but to guide students to search and percept the social and cultural definition corresponding to the language. See to it that, as teachers, we should improve their competence of intercultural communication. This paper deals with the relations between English teaching and learning and intercultural communication teaching and learning. The author analyzes the development and the importance of the intercultural communication teaching and learning, and then introduces the basic contents, and methods of the intercultural communication, to know how to be an effective intercultural communication.
