Abstract

The effect of high dose irradiation on polysaccharides of rice straw was studied. The feasibility of the achievement of high-concentration sugar by the way of improving substrate concentration through fed-batch enzymatic hydrolysis process of irradiated rice straw, was then investigated. The result showed that the polysaccharides content of irradiated rice straw decreased and the water-soluble sugar increased from 0. 7% to 13. 4%. By the way of fed-batch enzymatic hydrolysis, the solid loading could reach 40%( mass fraction) in the enzymatic hydrolysis system. And 104. 6 g / L glucose concentration as well as 77. 1%cellulose conversion were obtained by this process under the condition of 32. 8 FUP / g( calculated by cellulose) cellulase loading.
