Abstract
Objective To study the effect of endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms with Guglielmi detachable coils (GDC ) and emphasize the mainpoint of the embolic technique. Methods 68 patients with intracranial aneurysm were treated with intravascu1ar embolization using GDC.Results 53 aneurysms were achieved 100% occulsion,9 with 95% occ1usion,6 with 90% occlusion,2 with85% occlusion,1 over embolization.8 patients were suffered from cereblar vasospasm duing the embolization, microcoil escaped from the neck of aneurysm,.There were 4 aneurysm rupture,67 survival,1death.Conclusion Endovascular emdolization with GDC is a safe, reliable and effective method in intracranial aneurysm.Pay attention to operative techniues could reduce the incidence.
