Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of endovascular embolization of intraeranial aneurysms withCuglielmi detachable coils (GDC) and emphasize the mainpoint of the embolic technique. Methods 58 patients with intraeranial aneurysm were treated with intravascular embolization using GDC. Results 30 aneurysms were achieved 100% oeeulsion, 18 with95% occlusion, 10 with 90% occlusion. 4 patients were suffered from cereblar vasospasm during the embolization, microcoil escaped from the neck of aneurysm in 1 patient. Conclusion Endovascular emdolization with GDC is a safe, reliable and effective method in treating intraeranial aneurysm.
