Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect, safety and superiority of pneumatic lithotripsy combined with Holmium laser lithotripsy in 232 cases with ureteral stones. Methods Pneumatic lithotripsy combined with Holmium laser lithotripsy was employed in the treatment of 232 cases with ureteral stones. Results Of the 232 cases, the cure rate was 89.9%.Mean operation time was 30.2 minute. The overall successful stone fragmention rate of urinary calculi was 90.2%.No severe intraoperative or long-term complications occurred. Conclusions Pneumatic lithotripsy combined with Holmium laser lithotripsy offers a more effective, safty and speedy means than a single lithotripsy method.
