The issue about well-known trademark dilution is not explicit in our present legislation,which is lagged behind in the protection about well-known trademark protection against dilution.Our legislation standard on trademark dilution is consistent with the international one,which holds that the problem about trademark dilution is mainly about well-known trademark.Well-known trademark dilution is essentially an infringement on the trademark rights on the basis of the extension of trademark rights.Some international treaties related with well-known trademark protection is a powerful weapon against dilution.Our relevant laws,regulations and judicial interpretations are also a good basis to well-known trademark anti-dilution protection.We should intensify the consciousness about well-known trademarks anti-dilution protection,perfect the legislation on the trademark anti-dilution protection by enacting special The PRC Well-known Trademark Anti-dilution Law and Regulation on Well-known Trademark Protection,amending The Trademark Law of the PRC and Law of the PRC for Countering Unfair Competition.
