Establishment of PCR method for detection of Staphylococcus aureus in foods

Abstract

A method of PCR for detecting Staphylococcus aureus was established in foods. The thermostable nuclease gene( nuc) of Staphylococcus aureus was amplificated specifically by PCR for detection of Staphylococcus aureus in simulated samples. The results showed that the established method of PCR for detection Staphylococcus aureus in the simulated sample was good specificity,sensitivity of 61. 76 pg /μ L.
