Abstract
Objective: To probe CNTF changes in injuried sciatic nerve for 2wk.Methods: By anti-CNTF antibody, Western Blot was used to exam the different expression of CNTF in the distal stump of transected sciatic nerve for 2wk and normal sciatic nerve.Results: Special positive band was found around 22kD in normal nerve , no band in the distal stump of the injuried sciatic nerve. Conclusion:The expression of CNTF was in normal level in the normal sciatic nerve and decreased significantly in the distal stump of injuried nerve. [
