Abstract
The inactivation efficiencies of E.coli and Enterococcus faecalis were investigated by three kinds of disinfection method,i.e.free chlorine, chloramine and sequential chlorination. The results indicated that the higher the free chlorine concentration was,the larger the inactivation rate and terminal inactivation ratio were. The higher the chloramine concentration was,the larger the inactivation rate and terminal inactivation ratio were. The disinfection effect of sequential chlorination was superior to the free chlorine or chloramine used solely.Meanwhile, the influence of pH and temperature on three disinfection methods was discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
