Abstract
The sequential disinfection technology of short-time free chlorine transformed to chloramine was studied. The inactivation efficiency of this technology on monitor microorganism was better than the free chlorine disinfection, Free chlorine and chloramines had coordinative disincentive action. The efficiency of poliovirus and coliphage f2 was same to the free chlorine. Under the condition of same original water, the THMs and HAAs produced from sequential chlorination disinfection technology was 35.8%~77.0% and 36.6%~54.8% less than those from free chlorination. The more worse water quality of inflow disincentive water, the more prior the sequential chlorination disinfection technology in the respect of disinfection by-product control.
