Clinical analysis of adenoidectomy with 70° nasal endoscope by mouth of 126 cases

Objective To explore the clinical effects and merit of adenoidectomy with 70°nasal endoscope by mouth.Methods 126 cases with adenoid hypertrophy were treated with adenoidectomy with 70 ° nasal endoscope by mouth.Results There were no postoperative complications,for instance postoperative hemorrhage,residuum of adenoids and eu stachian tube surgical trauma in all cases.With 0.5 to 2.0 years of follow-up,the symptoms of nasal obstruction,hearing descent,mouth breathing and snoring in all of these patients improved obviously compared with preoperative one.Conclusion Adenoidectomy through nasal endoscope by mouth could get the clear operating field and improve the cu rative effect,safety and accuracy of the operation.
