Clinical Effects of Adenoidectomy with 70°Nasal Endoscope by Mouth

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects of adenoidectomy with 70°nasal endoscope by mouth.Method 85 patients with adenoid hypertrophy were submitted to adenoidectomy with 70°nasal endoscope by mouth.They were followed up for a period range from 3 months to 1 year.Result 85 patients were successful operation with bleeding 10～20mL in peration.There was no complication.The symptoms of nasal obstruction,mouth breathing and snoring in all of these patients disappeared.8 patients with secretory otitis media were cured and 2 patients were improved;15 patients with sinusitis were cured and 5 patients were improved.Conclusions Adenoidectomy with 70°nasal endoscope by mouth could get the distinct operating field and enhance the curative effect,safety and accuracy of the operation with few comp-lication.This method is worth popularization.
