Clinic Study of Voice Acoustic Analysis and Esophageal Language Healing of Total Laryngectomy Aphasiac

Objective To analyze the voice acoustic characteristics of patients who have been taken total laryngectomy for guiding the esophageal speech rehabilitation practice access.Methods Thirty esophageal speakers after total laryngectomy took part in the voicee acoustic assessment.The normal group served as comparison under the same condition.We also compared the recovery effect of esophageal speaker after practicing for one month and six months.Results The parameters of voice acoustic,such as fundamental frequency,amplitude,jitter,shimmer and harmonics to noise ratio were significantly different between the group of one month practicing esophageal speakers and normal persons and between the group of six months practicing speakers and one month practicing speakers(P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusion Comparison shows the tone of esophageal phonation for one month practicer is low-pitched and the voice quality is poorer,while the normal speaker and six months esophageal speech practicer have clear and well tone.So the esophageal speech rehabilitation practice access maintains the most important method to acquire the laryngeal speech after total laryngectomy.
