An Analysis on the Human Capital Investment of China's Professional Athletes

The study adopts the theory of human capital to probe into the human capital investment of China's professional athletes in the context of market economy.The result shows that the manual capacity with the athletes' particular competitive capacity as its core is the natural foundation and source to form athletes' human capital.The continuous development from different investors is the exterior condition of formation.The main investment elements of Chinese professional athletes' human capital include investment in education,training,competition and emotion.And training investment is the core.The basic investors include the governments,enterprises,social organizations,the athletes' families and individual athletes.
