Abstract
Objective:To observe clinical effects of massage in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Method:Sixty patients were randomized into the treatment group and the control group.The control group received traction and the control group traditional massage,and both groups were treated once per day,20 to 30 minutes each time.Two weeks were one course of treatment.Clinical effects of both grousp were compared after two courses of treatment,the changes of symptoms and body signs,pain remission of the patients were observed before and after treating.Result:Massage in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy could obtain remarkable effects,especially in the controlling and remarkable effective rate and effectual rate with remarkable advantage.Conclusion:Treatment for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with massage could achieve better effects.
