Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship of SELP C-2123G gene polymorphism with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction(ACI)and intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH)in Han population in Hunan province. Methods Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism(PCR-RFLP)was performed to identify the distributions of allele and genotype frequencies of SNP C-2123G polymorphism of P-selection gene in 311 patients with stroke and 174 healthy controls. Results SELP C-2123G gene polymorphism revealed no significant difference between GG,CG and CC genotype and G and C allelic distribution in stroke patients and controls.(P0.05).Conclusion There is no relationship between the SELP C-2123G gene polymorphism and stoke in Han population in Hunan province.
