Abstract
Objective To investigate the prevalence ofβ-lactam antibiotic-resistant genes in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(Pa). Methods Antibiotic sensitivity test was performed by VITEK-AMS.β-lactamases and the outer membrance protein D2(OprD2) genes were detected by PCR methods in 26 strains of Pa. Results In 26 strains of Pa, the positive rates of genes of TEM, IMP and OXA were 42.3% , 30.8% , and 3.8%, respectively, the rate of lacking oprD2 gene was 92.3% and genes of SHV, CTX-M-1, PER, VEB, GES, VIM, DHA and MIR were all negative. Conclusion TEM and IMP typeβ-lactamases and lacking the OprD2 were the resistant mechanisms to explain p-lactam antibiotics resistance in clinical isolates of Pa.
