Effectiveness of herbal fumigation with sodium hyaluronate injection in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and its nursing

Abstract

Objective To study the effectiveness of herbal fumigation with sodium hyaluronate injection in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and its nursing.Methods 122 patients with knee osteoarthritis were divided into observation group (n=62) and control group (n = 60). The observation group were given herbal fumigation and sodium hyaluronate injection,and the control group were given knee articular injection of sodium hyaluronate.Results It was proved 48 cases markedly effective,12 effective in the observation group.The total effective rate was 96.8%. There were 21 cases proved markedly effective and 26 effective in the control group.The total effective rate of the control group was 78.3%.The effectiveness of observation group was better to control group obviously.Conclusion There are significant effect on osteoarthritis of knee by herbal fumigation with sodium hyaluronate injection combined with proper nursing.
