Pichia pastoris Expression System and Strategies for High-level Expression

Abstract
Pichia expression system is one of the most successful foreign protein expression system until now,which has many merits in the gene expression,protein process,secretion,post-translation modification and the glycosylation modification.It has been used to express foreign proteins widely.This review focuses on the advantages of Pichia pastoris expression system,the characteristics of expression plasmid and host,and strategies for high-level expression.
