Abstract

Yeast is a single cellular eukaryotic organism.Pichia pastoris is a newly developed expression system, many valuable heterologous proteins have successfully been expressed in it.In this paper,we review the Pichia pastoris expression system on characteristics, integration of expression vectors into its genome and post translational modification of secreted protein.
