Advance in Recombinant Proteins Secretion by Pichia pastoris Expression System

Abstract
The Pichia pastoris expression system is being used successfully for the production of various recombinant heterolo- gous proteins.But the foreign gene expression or the protein yield is influenced by the characteristics of the gene and the environmental factors.These factors make some heterologous genes express unstably or even express a little.We analyze here some of these factors and briefly review how to improve expression levels of heterologous genes in Pichia pastoris.
