Abstract
Objective To investigate celecoxib’s function of suppressing the growth of C6 glioma and inducing apoptosis in vivo. Methods C6 glioma mice were divided into control and celecoxib group, used HE staining、curve of tumor volume、PGE_(2) and electron microscope to observe the effect of celecoxib on C6 glioma. Results HE staining and electron microscopy showed vascular injury, cell necrosis and apoptosis in celecoxib group,PGE_(2) and tumor volume between two groups through t-test had a statistical mening,P(0.05).Conclusion Celecoxib can inhibit COX-2 ,decrease synthesize of PGE_(2),there was a inhibition of proliferation on C6 glioma by celecoxib.
