Abstract
Six generations(P1,P2,F1,B1,B2 and F2) from the cross M578×S147 were used to study the inheritance of plant height and ear height using the gene plus polygene mixed inheritance model.The research results indicated that the inheritance of plant height fitted the the genetic model of two additive-dominance epistasis major genes plus additive-dominance polygenes,the major gene heritability in B1,B2 and F2 were 12.7%,39.9% and 48.4%,respectively,and the polygene heritability in B1,B2 and F2 were 50.1%,0%and 15.3%,respectively;and that the inheritance of ear height fitted the genetic model of additive-dominance-epistasis polygenes.The polygenes heritability in B1,B2 and F2 were 32.%,34.7% and19.8%,respectively.
