Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and therapeutic measures of craniocerebral trauma complicated with cerebral infarction. Methods It was been retrospectively invsetigated and analyzed that the diagnosis, treatments and results of 31 patients with craniocerebral trauma complicated with cerebral infarction. Results In the group, 8 cases were diagnosed as large area cerebral infarction, 6 cases were executed evacuation of intracranial hematoma and(or) decompressive craniectomy. According to Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS) scores, 13 patients were classified as well recovery, 6 moderate neurological deficit, 5 severe neurological deficit and 3 vegetative state, death occurred in 4 cases. Conclussion Early diagnosis and therapy can reduce the ratio of mortality and mutilation, to the patients which were with craniocerebral trauma complicated with cerebral infarction.. It is essential to paying attention to the balance and ralation of operation or non-operation, dehydration or fluid replacement, hemostasis or anticoagulation, et al.
