Abstract
Objective To discuss the mechanism,diagnosis and therapeutic methods of adult craniocerebral trauma with massive cerebral infarction. Methods Clinical data and curative effect analysis for 16 patients were collected. Results To evaluate the prognosis by the GOS 3~6 months after the operation, 4 recovered good (25%), 3 middle disability (19.4%), 2 serious disability (12.5%), 1 vegetation state (6.25%) and 6 died (37.5%). Conclusions The craniocerebral trauma with massive cerebral infarction is rare.Special attention to should be payed on it and treat it correctly.The death rate can be reduced and the quality of life can be improved.
